Despite Ceasefire: Bomb Blast kills Five At Bus Station In Bauchi

No fewer than five people were blown up late last night while twelve sustained several degrees of severe injuries when a bomb exploded at a bus station in northern Nigeria’s Bauchi State.
According to a police source, the blast, which struck the town of Azare overnight, is likely to be blamed on Islamist Boko Haram militants, casting further doubt on government reports that it had reached a temporary ceasefire with the rebels in order to release 200 schoolgirls they are holding hostage.
It was gathered that commuters who returning home from work were most hit by the insurgents.
